About Benedikte Utzon

A Versatile, Creative Talent
As a member of the Utzon family of furriers, designers and architects Benedikte Utzon was born and brought up with creativity. She graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion and Design in 1987. Since then she has worked for several leading design and fashion companies in Denmark.

Her own Successful Label
In 1995 Benedikte felt ready to introduce her own label, Benedikte Utzon. This mid priced, feminine, contemporary mixture of classic and raw designs has long ago proven its great appeal to the modern, independent, and fashion conscious woman. A woman who wants to express her personal style with beautiful colours and shapes, an exceptional fit, and unique details to accentuate her feminine silhouette.

A Definitive Stamp of Approval
Via her determination and creative mind Benedikte Utzon has established her name and talent - with her creations for the Danish, royal family as a definitive stamp of approval. She has designed furs for both HM the Queen and her sister, HM Queen Anne-Marie. At the royal wedding in 2004 the Danish Fur Farmers' wedding gift to HRH Crown Princess Mary was a gorgeous cream-coloured mink coat designed by Benedikte Utzon.
